CFQ
classes in Oxford, England, 2009
There are two weekly CFQ classes in Oxford:
Monday afternoon,
Taught by Kate Forster.
Current run: Mondays, 28 September - 21 December (no classes October 26 & November 16) (10 classes in total).
Level 1: 2.00 - 3.30 pm / Cost: £5 per class or £45 for the term, paid at the first class.
Level 2: 3.45 - 4.45 pm / Cost: £3 per class or £27.50 for the term, paid at the first class.

Wednesday evening, now 7.30pm, SS Phil & Jim School hall, Aristotle Lane.
Level 1: 7.30 - 8.50pm
Level 2 practice: 9.00 - 9.30pm
New students are welcome to arrive from 7.00pm for individual instruction before we get going. Please email first.

Beginners are very welcome to either of the above classes and can start at any time.
It should perhaps be noted (!) that CFQ can produce genuine, spontaneous releases of tension in the form of both sounds and movements and that if you've never seen the like before you may find it a bit peculiar. But it's all very harmless. :-)

Dr Simon Phipp will be teaching more in depth classes occasionally at weekends. Simon has been
studying intensively with Master Yap, having made numerous visits to Penang in the

His next classes will be early in the new year, 2010.
In the meantime, there will be a practice day with Ian Threadgill, Sunday October 25th, at the usual school. 10am - 5pm, £20/ £15. Intended principally for those who have already come to classes, but interested beginners are welcome to email cfqoxford@gmail.com

The Phil and Jim School, is on Aristotle Lane, which becomes Navigation Way. Access via Polstead Road,
off Woodstock Road, North Oxford. For a map click here,
( but be aware that the map has not been updated to include the extension of Aristotle
lane where the school actually is. Still, it should help.) Parking is available
at the school, and they would prefer us to use the car park rather than the road. The hall we use is a few yards to the right of the main school entrance and can be accessed directly by doors very close to the road.
